Surfactant 400 | A highly effective additive for either acid or water, or in hydrocarbons such as xylene and aromatic naphtha, utilized in well clean-outs and in stimulation treatments. It is completely miscible in the above systems, including mud acids. It removes oily films from scales and iron sulfide, allowing the acid to contact them for quickly removal. |
Surfactant-Demulsifier 475 | A mixture of amine sulfonates and nonionic surfactants, concentrated surfactant, that lowers the interfacial tension between oil, water and reservoir surfaces. It is utilized for oil washes, removal of blocks due to mud, water intrusions or emulsion; or the prevention of emulsions in workovers or chemical treatments; it also breaks spent acid emulsions. |
